Haffey Family Farm began in 2016 as an extra means of supporting our family. At that time, Farmer Jeremy focused primarily on cultivating and growing garlic. By 2021, the farm had evolved into a full family adventure, expanding its offerings to include a diverse range of fruits and vegetables and venturing into the Pittsburgh area’s farmers’ markets. In 2022, a Community Supported Agriculture program became an integral part of our farm, reflecting our commitment to community connection and the importance of fresh, locally grown produce.
We recognize it is a privilege to provide our children with access to fresh and healthy produce, and it is our goal for other families to share in that benefit. On our farm, you will commonly see our children stroll out to the fields, pluck a pepper, cucumber, or tomato, and savor it right there. To ensure the health and sustainability of our produce, we exclusively cultivate non-GMO crops using environmentally friendly farming practices. While not officially certified as organic, we adhere closely to organic farming methods. We put in considerable effort, love and care to cultivate our produce, and we sincerely hope you enjoy the fruits of our labor.

“Hubby and I were just saying how much better we like the variety, quantity, AND quality of the produce boxes than our former CSA. And thank you for the recipes too. They are great, and even if I don”t completely follow them, they always provide a jumping off place for some new idea. We love your farm!” – 2022 Member
